“From weaving on a loom to weaving shapes, values and colors into relating on paper is what excites me when en plein air painting. After 19 years of selling my watercolors and reproductions in outdoor art festivals in 5 states I got hooked into the freedom of being outdoors. I now look at a scene as abstract relationships more then it being a building or a pretty picture. It is the unusual subjects that pull me into deciding to design and record that will relate my excitement to a viewer. And, just like an unusual landscape scene, I love painting the faces of people which are in themselves a story.”
