DIA Inside|Out and Dexter

Dexter has been selected as a participating city in 2015. The Detroit Institute of Arts (DIA) is taking art to the streets for the sixth year in a row. The DIA brings high-quality reproductions of masterpieces from the DIA’s collection to outdoor venues throughout the area. Over the past five years, the DIA has installed more than 700 reproductions in 98 communities. From August to October, Dexter will have three images clustered within walking or bike-riding distance. In 2014, Dexter was the recipient of three DIA “pop-up” exhibits, which were on display in the downtown area.
